The smattering of Japanese-language press reports have stopped short of naming the YouTuber (and images have censored her and the participants’ faces) or identifying when the incident took place, though it seems it was earlier this month. The reticence to “name and shame” is probably because the YouTuber is only 16 years old! If anyone was in the area at the time and witnessed the shenanigans, please share the details.

Given the usual drunken mob that congregates at Hachiko every weekend, the only thing that might shock us is that someone was filming the gropes with a camera.

The controversial ERO24TV telathon “boob aid” (Oppai Bokin) event took place on December 3rd. Famously it gives regular members of the public the chance to grope porn stars’ breasts for a few seconds, with all proceeds going to AIDS-related charitable causes.

We recently heard about the South Korean movie Delicious Delivery (2015), a movie about, you’ve guessed it, a delivery boy.

A masturbation survey of Japanese men has identified the place in Japan where people masturbate the most as well as other useful factoids.

The National Male Masturbation Survey 2017 examined the current state of male self-pleasure. A total of 5,279 men aged between 15 and 64 around Japan were asked questions about their masturbation habits.

Onanism is biggest in Kanagawa Prefecture, it seems, with an average of 3.77 jerks a week. Several other prefectures followed closely behind. Incidentally, national average was 2.94 times per week. Does that seem a lot or a little?

Favorite positions for self-pleasure were “sitting in a chair” at 33.6%, followed by “lying face upwards” at 27.9%.

No surprise, then, that 79.5% of respondents said that watching porn was how they got into the mood. Adult magazines scored low, at just 6%, while watching AV that costs money was only 17.7% — which might not bode well for the future finances of the porn industry.

The overwhelmingly most popular method of masturbation was rubbing the penis up and down with your hand (95.4%). Well, that’s a no-brainer. But we wonder what the results would have been like if onaholes and similar toys were included. We think they were probably excluded from this category.

If you’re anything like us, you like nude selfies. Not necessarily your own or even your partner’s, but perusing those of others posted generously online.

We’ve covered some great examples of these over the years and they never cease to get us in the right mood.

But if you happen to like the ones posted by high schoolers or even younger, you may not be able to enjoy them that much longer if the powers that be have their way.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly is proposing to change the Healthy Youth Development Ordinance, which covers the use of media and minors to make it harder to ask someone online for their nude selfie.

Currently the law makes it illegal to intimidate or threaten someone to coerce a nude selfie. The proposed change under discussion would make it criminal to request any nude image from someone under the age of 18 if he or she has already denied it. In other words, just asking twice could be enough to qualify as breaking the law. The punishment is still relatively light, though, carrying a fine of ¥300,000. But it’s a lot considering you might be fined that amount just for sending the wrong text or tweet. It’s also a little peculiar in terms of the choice of 18 as the cutoff point, since 20 is the official age of adulthood in Japan.

This is not an unexpected development and we actually first reported on the plans back in February. Things have since progressed, it seems, and the change may very well come into law soon, ostensibly to protect minors from “online perverts”. Coercion also remains a huge topic following the recent adult video scandals.

Since leaving AKB48, Mariya Nagao has been determined to carve out a career for herself by exploiting her assets.

While she hasn’t gone quite as far of other AKB idols before her and done full nude or semi-nude shoots, lke Aika Ota recently, and certainly hasn’t entered adult video like a prominent number of AKB and sister group graduates, she has shown us her killer body on more than one occasion. Japanese TV dramas can get a bit sexy late at night but nudity never happens except on the digital or satellite channels. For real nudity, we have to go to the movies. Thank you, Anna Konno, for this year’s best example of that.

The South Korean film director Kim Ki-duk has been accused of assault and attempting to coerce a actress into performing sex scenes for his movie Moebius.

The unnamed actress has accused the critically acclaimed and award-winning Kim of slapping her during preparation to perform an unscripted, violent sex scene. The allegations first came out in the summer but there were some new developments this month. Now Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office said that it has indicted Kim on a summary offense with a penalty of $4,570 (KRW5 million).

It is still not known who the actress was, though she subsequently left the production and saw her career damaged as a result.

In addition to the slapping, she has also accused the director of forcing her to take hold of an actor’s penis rather than a prosthesis, as had been previously arranged. She held a press conference this month where she described the trauma she suffered.

The 2013 film did come out, as dark and violent as Kim’s output usually is, and won plaudits. The actress at the center of the allegations was replaced by Lee Eun-woo, who was more than happy to shed her clothes for the role, it seems, and show off her quite incredible breasts. Jukujo actress and model Norika Fujiwara stars in the YTV television drama Nemurenu Shinju (Sleepless Pearl).

In several scenes the 45-year-old Norika Fujiwara is shown having sex with two men (of quite varying ages), including up against a wall and in a bed.

Whatever happens to Japan’s junior idols?

This is a controversial topic. Many find the idea of junior idols (or chidol) — girls often as young as their tweens or even younger — repellent and tantamount to encouraging pedophilia in the same way as lolicon.

However, it’s worth remembering that many gravure idols start their careers in their late teens and are technically below the age of adulthood in Japan (20 years old). So it’s not all about the specific genre of junior idols and things are very ambiguous when you start looking around.

After all, many music idols from groups like AKB48 or Momoiro Clover Z would also qualify as chidols in terms of age and some of photo shoots they take part in.

Some junior idols successfully “graduated” and have gone onto further careers as music idols (perhaps most famously, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu), gravure models, acting, and so on. Most, of course, just disappear into the ether, never to be seen again except for a few dog-eared photo books that do the rounds of online auctions.

Some become adult video stars and a few of these are at least known, though names are usually changed. One prominent recent example is Kana Minami — and what a young lady the Okinawa native has grown up to be!

Minami has just made her debut on S1 label in a release (SSNI00087) this month. Another DVD with a threesome theme is also set to come out in February. Interestingly, the first release is unashamedly playing up to her past as a junior idol in how she is presented, but the second one seems more mature in terms of what she is doing with her body.
